Randall Alan Crowley Sr. passed away on March 17, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer.
Randy was born on November 7, 1955 in Kimball, NE to Alonzo J. (AJ) Crowley & Jeanne M Crowley (Scott) where he lived until moving to Gillette, WY at the age of 12 in 1968. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 1974.
In 1977 Randy married Wanda Oliver. They had an instant family together as he welcomed a 2yr old daughter, Tasha Michelle, into his life and adopted her as his own. Two more children were born to this union, Randall A. Crowley Jr in 1979 and Oliver (Scott) Crowley in 1982. They later divorced.
As a young man Randy enjoyed everything in the outdoors and spent countless days in the Bighorn Mountains. If you could catch it on a fishing pole he was game to try. His greatest enjoyment was fishing for walleye and deep sea fishing. Randy also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, woodworking and was an avid Broncos fan. Randy was able to join his son, Scott on a Canadian black bear hunt only weeks before his medical diagnosis, bringing home a nice trophy.
In 1978 Randy went to work at the Wyodak power plant as a maintenance employee, eventually working into a mechanics position and being very involved in the safety program. He retired after 25 + years of service. After his retirement, he spent a short time in Lander, WY before returning home to the Gillette area, finally settling around Keyhole. He worked on and off during retirement for a few companies, Keyhole Marina, BTI, and True Oil.
The last 6 years of his life Randy was blessed to find a very special person to share his life with and was happiest while with her.
Randy was preceded in death by his father AJ Crowley and several aunts and uncles.
Randy is survived by his mother Jeanne Crowley, sister Sandy (Gib) Cook of Rozet, brother Lonnie (Renae) Crowley of Gillette, daughter Tasha (Justin) Clyde of Dickinson ND, sons Randy (Trisha) Crowley of Gillette and Scott (Abby) Crowley of Rozet, 8 grandchildren, several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
