Memorial service for Marvin P. Moser will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Redemption Church-formally Antelope Valley Baptist Church in Gillette, WY with Pastor Don Sullivan officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by American Post #42 Drill Team.Marvin Moser, age 82 passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Close to Home Hospice House. Marvin P. Moser was born on May 29, 1935 on the Family homestead, south of McIntosh, SD to Philip and Elizabeth (Hienrich) Moser. He was the youngest of eight sibilings.Marvin served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 and was a very patriotic man who loved his country.He married his best friend and love of his life, Essy Haugland on March 14, 1969 in Murdo, South Dakota. They had two children, Christy and Todd.Marvin worked road construction most of his lifetime. In 1977, the family moved to Gillette, WY where he began working for Campbell County Road and Bridge. Marvin worked there until he retired in 2002. He was a tireless worker and dedicated employee, a trait he passed onto his children. Most of all, he was a devoted Christian. Marvin loved the Lord and was a tremendous influence on his family and friends. Marvin and Essy enjoyed traveling, spending time in Arizona with family. Marvin is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Essy Moser, his daughter Christy (Robin) Kuntz and son Todd (Missy) Moser, five granddaughters and several great grandchildren.The family requests that memorials in Marvins name will be made to the American Cancer Society or to Sunshine Acres Children Home in Mesa.
