Robert Boyd Neeman

Memorial service for Robert "Nemo" Neeman will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Donnie Edwards officiating. Robert "Nemo" Boyd Neeman age 61 of Gillette, WY was called home to the Lord late Saturday, June 24, 2017. Robert Neeman was born October 8, 1955 in Orleans, NE to Boyd and Arla (Reynonds) Neeman. Robert grew up in Oacoma/ Chamberlain, SD where he graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1974. Shortly after graduation he moved to Wyoming to pursue coal mining. He worked at multiple coal mines in the Thunder Basin around Gillette as a heavy equipment operator. Robert was an avid hunter and loved to fish; he also supported multiple outdoor organizations. He loved sports including football. Robert met and married Terri Miles on September 25, 1993. Nemo was a simple and kind man, who had room in his heart for everyone. He was also known as the king of the one-liner jokes. Robert is survived by his children; Rhiannon Miles-Harry, Brandon Miles, Chance Miles, and Jake Walter, siblings; Connie Pickner of Chamberlain, SD, Shirley Wissner of Percy, NE, Trudy and George Hofman of Lincoln, NE, Lonnie and Donna Neeman of Oacoma/ Chamberlain, SD, along with numerous aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Arla Neeman, wife, Terri Neeman, and son-in-law; Michael James Harry.
