Robert John Mansur

Dr. Robert J. Mansur, age 89 of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Campbell County Health. Dr. Mansur was born on November 29, 1927 in Elk Rivers, Minnesota to Celia (Hocker) and John Mansur. Robert served in the military as a member of the US Coast Guard from 1944-1946. Robert graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College in Minneapolis, MN in 1952. He had a family practice for over 30 years in Buffalo and Gillette, WY. After retiring in 1982, his time was spent with his wife Jean traveling, hunting and fishing together. Robert was also very skilled at woodworking, creating many beautiful pieces. He is survived by his wife Jean of 66 years, sons; Bruce (Gloria) of Houston, TX, Steven (Cathy) of Brighton, CO, Glenn of Eagle, ID, David (Suzanne) of Buffalo, WY, Richard (Maria) of Gillette, WY, and sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Celia Mansur of Minneapolis, MN, and two sisters; Charlotte Smith of Fargo, ND, and Marie Bradshaw of Peoria, AZ. The family requests that memorials be made in Robert's name to Campbell County Healthcare Foundation (Intensive Care Unit).
