Funeral Services for Monte Anderson will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Church at the Barn with Pastor Mike Morrison officiating; interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Monte Lee Anderson, 61, passed away peacefully among family at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette Wyoming on Monday, May 15, 2017. Monte was born August 28, 1955 in Sidney, Montana to Andrew Wicktor Anderson and Lillian Viola (Kringen) Anderson. He moved to Gillette, Wyoming with his family in 1965. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 1973. He completed his Bachelor's Degree at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT in 1977. He was the owner and most importantly the operator of Specialty Concrete since 1978. He married Bronwen (Rudolph) Anderson February 25, 1988 in Jamaica and the couple had two daughters; Danielle and MacKenzie. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, talking about concrete and spending time with his friends but lately his interests had changed to his new grandchildren. He is survived by his two daughters; Danielle Beach of Cheyenne (Shawn), MacKenzie Anderson of Gillette (Kyle Barbula), two brothers; Arlyn Anderson of Moorcroft, Craig Anderson of Cheyenne, one sister; Linda Welch of Shepherd, MT, and three grandchildren (with one on the way-Baby Barbula); Bella, Kaylene, and Lillian Beach. He is preceded in death by his parents; Andy and Lil. The family requests tha memorials be made in Monte's name to either Gillette Little League or Moose Lodge.
