Patricia Ann Allen

Memorial service for Pat Allen will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Family Life Church with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Patricia "Grandma Pat" Allen age 74, passed away, Sunday April 23, 2017 at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette, WY. Pat was born on October 19, 1942 in Plankinton, SD to Charles and Evelyn (Blasius) Mines. She grew up in Plankinton and graduated high school from Plankinton High School. After graduation Pat married Eugene Gales; the couple had four children together, they later divorced. Pat and her children moved to Gillette, WY in 1974. Pat met the love of her life Clayton Allen, and the couples were married in May 1978. Pat worked in the food industry for many years until she found her niche; running her own Daycare for 35 years; affectionately called Grandma Pat by so many. Pat enjoyed camping, cooking, spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her door always open and the coffee pot on. Pat will be sadly missed by her children; Doug (Theresa) Gales, Tim Gales, Heidi (Phil) Bellor all of Gillette, WY and Chuck Gales of Moline, IL, grandchildren; Adrian, Katy, Nicole, Serena, Tyler, Aaron, Shelby, and Colby, great-grandchildren; Kale, Bergen, and another due in June, brothers; John (Dawn) Mines and Bernie (Karen) Mines, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Clayton in 2012, and many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
