Mass of Christian Burial for Lee Ann Faber will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette, WY. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Lee Ann Ellen Faber, age 86, passed away at her home in Gillette, Wyoming, on April 13, 2017 of natural causes. Lee Ann Ellen (Richard) Faber was born on September 9, 1930 in Piedmont, South Dakota to Joseph Richard and Mary DelMaude Kingsley. Lee Ann enjoyed people and the many acquaintances that she made over the years. She was known around town by many either as the ironing lady, as a restaurant hostess, and once as a manager of a small gift shop. Lee Ann was recognized by the National Business Women's Week in October 1989 as Outstanding Woman; and most recently she was presented with a customer appreciation award from First Interstate Bank. She was a gentle soul who cared for many. She will always be loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Lee Ann's family is very grateful to all who have visited, provided their prayers, and who have assisted with Lee Ann's care. They offer a special thank you to the staff at TenderCare. Lee Ann is survived by daughter; Jeannie Lynn (Owen) Slack, granddaughters; Tara Lynn Slack and Jordan B (Deon) Florek, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John David Faber and son Ronnie Joe Faber. In lieu of flowers the family requests and memorials are made in Lee Ann's name to Close to Home Hospice to help families with their stay.
