Funeral Services for Thomas E. Wetherelt will be held at 11:00 a.m., a Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Holden of First Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Thomas Edward Wetherelt passed away at his beloved home on Friday, February 10th, 2017 from cancer. Tom was born to Howard and Alma (Olson) Wetherelt on January 16th, 1950 in Miles City, Montana. He grew up on the family ranch outside of Biddle, Montana. He worked in Belle Creek, Montana for 10 years and then moved to Gillette, Wyoming where he met the love of his life, Renee' Addison Ewing. They married on April 13, 1985, and celebrated 31 wonderful years of marriage together. They purchased land from Renee's dad and lived happily building their ranch, raising cattle, horses and tending to their garden. Tom was a heavy equipment operator in the mining, methane and construction industry for many years as well as a lifelong rancher. Tom enjoyed trips to the Big Horns, fishing, hunting, baking goodies, watching wildlife, tinkering on the ranch and sitting on the porch spending time with his family. He was a jokester and loved making people laugh. Tom is survived by his wife Renee' Wetherelt of Gillette WY; children, Brandi Wetherelt of Missoula, MT, Luke (Jennifer) Wetherelt of Panama City, FL, Wendy Hoffman of Gillette, WY and William Robert Ewing of Las Vegas, NV as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, sister and son, Cory Wetherelt. All of his family hold very special memories of him. Heaven gained a mighty fine man but he will forever be missed.
