Geraldine L. Beckley passed away peacefully at The Life Care Center of Casper early Sunday morning January 22, 2017 at the age of 83, with a worn out body and still making new friends.Geri is predeceased by her late husband Paul Beckley and her daughter Denise Fullenwider.Geri is lovingly remembered by her children; Brenda Burton (Craig), Jennifer Robinson and Kelly Robinson. Her late husband's children, Sharon Heseltine (Greg), Jo McKown (Marlin), and Paul Beckley (Marj). Geri will be sorely missed by her grandchildren; Jeremy Burton, Jessica Press, Alicia Lorduy, Joe Waterhouse, Melissa Hillsman, Christian Robinson, Jedidiah Robinson, CJ Takarchek, Nikole Fullenwider, Laci Fullenwider, Summer Jensen, Sean Beckley, Larry McKown, Danielle Stovall, Tammy Spry, Riqui Smith. Geri will be missed as well by her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Geri has one surviving sister, Lois Hoppes of Galva Kansas.Geri was born in Sterling Kansas in Oct. 1933 to Virgie Marie Frye and Clyde E Partington. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Sterling High School in 1951. Geri spent most of her working career in the Dry-Cleaning industry where she made many lifelong friendships in Gillette.Geri married Roy Robinson in 1955 and moved to Wyoming in 1963, and grew their family, then divorced in 1980.Geri and Paul Beckley were married in the early 80's and enjoyed many happy years retiring in Pine Haven. Geri enjoyed Softball and Bowling in her younger days, then fishing and gardening in her retirement. She was an avid reader and a solver of Crossword Puzzles. She loved spending time with her friends.She had strong hands. She worked hard. She loved having fun and telling jokes (especially dirty ones), and she knew how to party. Gritty, tough, resilient, and always rooting for the underdog. Funny, caring, and giving, her spirit will be missed. Geri was an elected official in Pine Haven Wyoming, spending 8 years serving on the Town Council, working for her community. The visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette Wyoming on Wednesday February 1 at 1:00 PM. At 2:00 PM the service of remembrance will begin with Pastor Gordon Harper officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery 804 S.
