Memorial Service for Michael S. "Mike" Jenks will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday September 30, 2016 at American Legion Post #42, 200 Rockpile Blvd, Gillette, Wyoming with a luncheon to follow. Mike S. Jenks, age 65, of Wright, WY passed away at his home on September 25, 2016 from cancer.Mike was born on March 14, 1951 to Al & Louise Schuetzle in Glasgow, Montana. He grew up in Baker Montana where he also attended school. In 1969 he was drafted, into the United States Army and served in Vietnam until he was honorably discharged in 1970. When Mike came home he moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming where he met the love of his life Evelyn in 1980. Mike and Evelyn where married on September 4, 1981. They had 3 beautiful girls, Tiffany Jenks,Elena (Jenks) Brown, Kimberly (Jenks) Bentsen. Mike worked in the oilfield for Massif Oil & Gas. Mike lived and breathed to ride his Harley. He also loved to go elk hunting, camping and fishing with his family and golfing. He adored his grandchild beyond words. Mike is survived by his wife Evelyn Jenks; daughters Tiffany Jenks and Herb Kalenberg and their 2 daughters Bailey and Ella, Elena Brown and Cameron Brown and their 2 sons Phoenix and Beckett, Kimberly Bentsen and Brian Bentsen and their son Paxton and daughter Emma; brothers, John and Debbie Jenks, Steve and Lora Jenks, Terry Jenks, Bret and Sheryl Schuetzle, and Warren and Carol Schuetzle, and many nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded by his mom and dad, his grandson Riley, and his beloved dogs Clutch (he had to leave him in nam), Fred, Clutch the second, Vienna, and Sassy.In lieu of flowers please send condolences and memorials to Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, Wyoming 82716.
