Memorial Service for Richard G. Baumberger will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow in The Unity Garden at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Richard Baumberger, age 61, of Gillette, WY passed away on September 18, 2016 at Pioneer Manor due to complications from a stroke.Richard Glen Baumberger was born to Gerald and Deanna Baumberger August 18, 1955 in Rapid City. He worked at Black Thunder Mine for many years as a haul truck driver, a job that he loved. Richard had many hobbies that he enjoyed including camping, spending time with friends and family and football. His greatest passion however was softball, which he played for many years. Richard is survived by his son, Braxton Huff of Gillette, WY; brothers, Tim Baumberger of Fort Collins, CO and Terry Baumberger of Gillette, WY; sister, Brenda Hertel of Gillette, WY along with many other family members. He proceeded in death by his parents, Gerald and Deanna Baumberger and numerous other family members.Richard's family would like to thank and show appreciation to all the nurses at pioneer manor for the great care he received while he was there. They never failed to make him laugh with all the joking around. A memorial has been established in Richard's name.
