Celebration of Life for Denise L. Fullenwider will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday September 2, 2016 at Family Life Church in Gillette, WY.Denise Lea Fullenwider (Robinson) ascended into Heaven on August 27, 2016 after standing strong in her battle with breast cancer. Denise was born on September 6, 1957 in Ellinwood, KS to Geraldine (Partington) and Roy Robinson. Early childhood years were spent in De Land, FL with her maternal extended family and shortly after relocated to Gillette, Wyoming. She attended elementary and Junior high in Campbell County where she spent countless hours at the Fairgrounds attending to and riding her family horses. Returning to De Land, FL at age 16 she continued her high school education and graduated in 1975. Beginning her many travels that summer with a cross country trip with close friends, she settled briefly in Falmouth, Mass where she gave birth to her daughter Alicia Danielle in 1976. By 1980, she resided in Gillette, WY and gave birth to her second child Joseph Michael.Denise began her working career as a teacher at the Gillette Christian School and continued onto Office Manager and accountant for Gane Production. In 1991 she married the love of her life and true soul mate James Allen Fullenwider on September 12 at Family Life Church. She gained 2 step-daughter Nikole and Laci. Later Denise and Jim joined the Vineyard Church Family where she offered her services as Treasurer, Sunday school teacher and Youth leader. Upon retirement they moved to Farmington, NM enjoying the Land of Enchantment. She involved herself in Kiwanis assisting in raising money for programs such as Coats for Kids and the Humane Society. Later she was very proud to become a DoTERRA Wellness Advocate; educating and encouraging many people on living a healthier lifestyle.Denise loved to travel and meet new friends, she was a strong spiritual leader and ever faithful in spreading the Gospel. Being a faithful prayer warrior, her love for God never wavered after the tragic loss of her husband Jim on April 5, 2009. She will always remain a shining light and inspiration to her family and friends.Denise is survived by her children, Alicia Aars-Lorduy of Marathon, FL, Joseph Waterhouse of Firestone, CO, Nikole and Laci Fullenwider; parents, Geraldine Beckley and Roy Robinson, siblings Brenda Burton, Jennifer and Kelly Robinson all residents of Wyoming; grandchildren, Joshua Williams, Francesco and Alexandra Lorduy, Carson Waterhouse, Zander Zuniga and Tannar Fullenwider, along with many nieces and nephews she loved greatly. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Fullenwider.A memorial has been established in Denise's name to benefit Close to Home Hospice in Gillette.
