Funeral service for Kaylee Cross of Gillette, WY will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at United Methodist Church in Upton, Wyoming with Pastor Sharee Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Upton, WY. Kaylee Marie Cross was called home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2016 in Denver, CO of undetermined causes. Kaylee was born on September 11, 1992 in Gillette, WY to Mike and Julie (Hudspeth) Cross. Kaylee grew up in Gillette, WY and loved being in Girl Scouts, playing basketball and spending time with her cousins. Kaylee loved to read and was dedicated to her school studies. Kaylee graduated from Campbell County High School in Gillette, WY with honors as a member of the honor society. After graduation she pursued a nursing degree. Kaylee was a very loving and giving person, who took great pride in helping people in need. During Kaylee's many trips to Denver she would make "God Bless You" bags and deliver them to people in need. Kaylee touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a pure and genuine soul that will be missed by many. Kaylee is survived by her parents; Mike and Julie Cross, brother; Kevin Cross, grandma; Joan Cross, grandpa; Cecil Hudspeth, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandpa; David Cross and grandma; Karen Hudspeth.
