Martha June Rose

Graveside service for Martha J. Rose will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday August 15, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Martha Rose, age 61, of Gillette, WY passed away on August 8, 2016 at Campbell County Hospice House from cirrhosis. Martha June Rose was born January 17, 1955 in Belle Fourche, SD to Eleanor and Carson Rose. She grew up in Upton, WY and graduated from Upton High School with her High School Diploma. After graduation she pursued self-employment with cleaning homes. In July of 1999 Rose moved to Gillette, where she was an active member of First Assembly of God Church. She loved spending time watching birds, cooking for family and friends but her cherished moments were those she spent with her granddaughters. Rose is survived by her father, Carson Rose; daughter, Whitney Carothers; sisters, Barbara Cooper, Paulatte Strong, Jeannie Rose, Velma Rose and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Mom, Eleanor Ester Rose; granddaughter Demitria Mercedez Rose and brother, Paul Carson Rose. A memorial has been established in Martha's name.
