Shirley Ann Alexander

Graveside service for Shirley A. Alexander will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 29, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Shirley Alexander, age 81 of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at home peacefully of natural causes. She will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity of being in her life. Shirley was born August 6, 1934 to Lewis and Helen (Watkins) Fry in Paducah, Texas. Her father passed away when she was only 3 years old and her brother Frank became her father figure in her younger years.Shirley married Ron Alexander and to this union they had 2 children, Clay and Lee Alexander. They moved to Gillette in 1970 which has since been there home. Shirley was a remarkable mother and homemaker, she was active in the Antelope Valley Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons Clay and Lee Alexander, grandchildren Aaron, Misty and Kendra, great-grandchildren Alexis, Hayden, Brooklen, Peyton, Kaylee, Kellen, Emberly, Kambree, Kaidynce and Brekken all of Gillette, Wyoming.She was preceded in death by her husband Ron Alexander, parents Lewis and Helen Fry and her brother Frank.Memorials and Condolences may be sent to the family in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
