A memorial service for William "Bill" Quinn will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Birchwood Apartments Library in Gillette, Wyoming.William (Bill) P. Quinn, 80 years old, passed away peacefully at Campbell County Hospital, Gillette, Wyoming on July 26, 2016. He was born in Cooperstown, Illinois on October 27, 1935.Bill and Sue married in Alton, Illinois in 1978 and moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1980. Bill served in the United States Military and went to school in Jacksonville, Illinois. He was an over the road truck driver, and an avid Nascar fan. Bills parents were deaf so he became an interpreter for the deaf.Bill and Sue opened their hearts to troubled youth and became foster parents. They had a lasting effect and the kids they fostered and were loved by all of them. Bill loved to tell jokes and entertained many by the wonderful jokes he would tell. He will be dearly missed by many who love him. His is survived by his wife Sue Quinn, daughters Kelly Jean in Washington, Dana in Arizona, Leann in California and Kelly Sue in Arizona; grandchildren Luke, Sarah, Katie, Morgan, Brandon and Alicia; and his great grandchildren. Sister in laws Clarinell and Judy.
