Memorial service for Ronald Cutler will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Grace Bible Church, 4000 East Collins Rd, Gillette, WY. Ronald W. Cutler, age 76, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, July 10, 2016 at home of natural causes. Ron was born on March 8, 1940 in Shillington, Pennsylvania, the son of Harry and Mabel (Dry) Cutler. He was raised in Shillington and graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1958. After graduation, Ron worked in underground mining at Grace Mines in Morgantown, Pa. On June 23, 1972 Ron married Shirley Hilbert. The couple resided in Reading, Pa. until moving to Douglas, Wyoming for Ron's job at Highland Uranium Mine on May 1, 1978. In 1980 he transferred to Rawhide Mine and later to Caballo Mine. He retired on Feb 5, 1998. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunted locally for elk, deer, antelope, and turkey. He hunted with his wife Shirley until she passed away in 2007. In addition, he took several trips to British Columbia where he harvested two bears and deer. In his later years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He also enjoyed miniature trains. Ron had an unforgettable sense of humor and chose the lighter side to get through life's difficulties, even to the end. He was loved by all and loved his family and friends. Ron is survived by his sister Doris Feick of Reading, Pa., step-daughter Sheryle Lee wife of Lynn Stoudt of Reading, Pa.; step-son Daryl Hilbert and his wife Darlene of Gillette, Wyoming; two children from a previous marriage, Randy "Scott" Cutler and Brenda Moser; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer, Zachary, Caleb, Tyrell and Danielle; and 6 great grandchildren.
