A Memorial ride is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 starting at the fishing lake at 11:30 a.m. kickstands up at 12:15 we will ride to Hoppers bar in Moorcroft and back to the Moose lodge by 2:00 pm to have celebration of life for Rickie Dale Fischer.Rickie Dale Fischer, age 63, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 peacefully at his home from a brain aneurysm. Rickie was born June 20, 1953 in Miller, South Dakota the son of Bennie Dale Fischer and Margret Marie Nielson. He grew up in Miller, Gann Valley, and Wessington Springs all in South Dakota. Rickie's hobbies and interests included horses, cars, camping, motorcycles and spending time with his three sons and family. He served in the Army National Guard for ten years. Rickie will always be remembered by that smile that seemed to brighten your day, and if you ever needed anything he was the one who would always be right there to help. He was also a jack of all trades working from a farm hand to his last job at The Wash and everything in between. He will be very sadly missed by anyone who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Margret Nielson; sons, Rickie, Zackery and Carver Fischer; brothers, Lonnie, Darwin and Kenny; and Sister, Linda Wenzel.
