Sven Arnold Jakobsen

Sven Arnold Jakobsen age 82, died at his home on Friday, June 17, 2016. Sven was born to Anna (Hemness) and Sven Jakobsen on June 17, 1934 in Akreham, Norway. He attended school in Akreham, Norway. He married Charlotte McKelvey on December 16, 1977. Sven was a commercial fisherman all his life until retiring. Sven and Charlotte moved to Gillette, WY in 2009. Sven enjoyed working in his yard and garden, and also spending time with his great-grandchildren. Sven is survived by his wife; Charlotte, son; Maton Jakobsen, daughter; Aina Johannsen both of Akraham, Norway, brothers; Olaf Jakobsen, Sigmond Jakobsen, and Jon Jakobsen of Norway, sisters; Sigrun Vedo, Astrid Johannesen, and Radon Kristensen of Norway, along with 13 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Sven Jakobsen and Anna Jakobsen and one brother; Einor Jakobsen.
