A private family graveside service has been held for Beverly Filbert.Beverly Ann Filbert, 65, passed away April 19, 2016 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Bev shared 41 years of marriage with Ron Filbert. They were wed in Casper, Wyoming in 1975. Bev was born in Casper, Wyoming, the daughter of Bernard Allen and Betty Dunning-Allen. She attended Natrona County High School, graduating in 1968. She then attended Casper College, obtaining her degree as a Registered Nurse. Bev worked multiple areas of nursing including; surgery, clinics, hospice, behavioral health, and management, mainly in Gillette and Casper, Wyoming. Bev will be remembered for her caring attitude toward her family and others. She was strong willed and passionate. She made many trips to Casper to care for her family in times of sickness and death, and was passionate about caring for her husband and son. Bev also spent hours on the phone and in-person consoling her friends and colleagues. She was a very spiritual person and her faith never wavered. Bev is survived by her devoted husband; Ron Filbert, son; Greg (Daphne) Filbert, granddaughters; Carly and Maggie, all of Gillette, sisters; Barbara Allen of Casper, and Brenna (Randy) Lowry of Cheyenne, sister in-law; Dee Allen-Thoms of Lincoln, Nebraska and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents; Bernard and Betty Allen, brother; William (Bill) Allen and grandmother; Goldie Dunning-Walker all of Casper.
