A visitation for Ron Bungert will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Ronald J. Bungert Sr. passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 after a long and hard battle with Liver Disease at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, CO. Ron was born in Milwaukee, WI. Ron was a very kind and loving man, who would do anything in his power to help another out. Ron enjoyed hunting, camping, spending time with family and friends, and most of all he loved fishing! Ron had endless stories of hunting and fishing with almost everyone in his life from his siblings to friends but most of all his wife and kids. Ron had other passions such as Harley Davidson Motorcycles, playing poker with friends and family, singing to his kids of music from his "good old days", spending time with his children, grandchildren and the many nieces and nephews (like smashing birthday cake in their faces) and his love for the Green Bay Packers was a BIG DEAL in the Bungert house! Ron is survived by his wife: Terry Bungert, Daughter: Evie and Issac Jackson, Son: Ron J. Bungert Jr. and Alyson Bungert, Son: Joey and Melissa Bungert, Son: Branden and Courtney Cragle, Son: Jammer and Bree Bungert, Son: Dustin Bungert, Daughter: Barbie and Jeremy Zaffarano, 4 Brothers, 3 sisters, and 25 Grandchildren. Ron is preceded in death by his Grandma: Helen Sellhausen, Granddaughter: Raelyn Cragle, Aunt: Carol Carlson, Nephew: Terry Joe Curry, Good Friend: Jerry Calkins, Uncle: Charlie Sellhausen, and Father In-law: Porky Lombard.
