Funeral Service for Judy K. Rennicks will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday March 18, 2016 at Church at the Barn with Pastor Mike Morrison officiating with burial following at 1:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD. Visitation will be held Thursday March 17, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home. Judy Kay Rennicks, age 74, of Gillette, WY passed away on March 14, 2016 at Close to Home Hospice House after a long painful fight with pancreatic cancer.Judy Kay (Sieler) Rennicks was born August 15, 1941 in Quinn, SD to Harold and Maxine Sieler. She moved with her three children to Gillette in May of 1971, where she met the love of her life Leland "Lee" B. Rennicks. The couple married on November 9, 1985 in Gillette, Wy. Together they operated a fruit truck business. They both enjoyed the traveling and meeting people as they sold fruit and vegetables. Lee and Judy were most proud of the trees they planted together at their home. Besides traveling and dining with her husband Lee, Judy also enjoyed walking, shopping, fashion and church. Judy always tried to see the best in everyone and never hesitated to pray for anyone at any time. Her constant faith inspired many people over the years. Her favorite thing was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lee and Judy had a wonderful love for one another, even the nurses mentioned how she still lit up every time he came in the room. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Leland "Lee" B. Rennicks; brothers, Gary Sieler of Rapid City, SD, Terry Sieler of Colorado, Dave Sieler and Steve Sieler both of Gillette; sisters, Sally Jakeway of Spearfish, SD, Dianne Terkildsen of Wall, SD; her daughters, Cheryl "Cher" Raye Reyes of Holbrook, AZ, Linda "Lynn" May Miller of Gillette, WY, Roxanne "Anne" Kay Peterson of Gillette, WY; 7 step children, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and many great and great- great nieces and nephews. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, numerous aunts and uncles and two grandchildren. A memorial has been established in Judy's name.
