John Grosz Jr

Funeral Service for John J. Grosz will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday March 4, 2016 at Journey Church with Pastor Erin Youngs officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Journey Church. John J. Grosz, age 40, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away February 27, 2016 at his home.John was born on January 29, 1976 to John and Susie Grosz in Parkston, SD. He was raised on a Hutterite Colony in South Dakota, where he learned the value of hard work and family. He left the colony to go work on a farm in Bridgewater, SD. On September 19, 1994 he went to work for Schulte TA Inc. a powerline construction company in Gillette, WY. John loved being a lineman and part of the close knit "Schulte" family. He worked there for nearly 23 years. In 2008, John met Jenifer, his wife to be and her two sons, Michael & Daniel. John and Jenifer were married in 2009. To this union, John Jr. was born and John was so proud of his "little man." He enjoyed his special time with his "little man" by going to the shop and playing with equipment and learning to climb poles. John loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening and camping. He also had a love for Nascar races, bonfires, snowmobiling and motorcycling, especially a trip to Reno, Nevada. That he and Jenifer enjoyed together. John is survived by his wife, Jenifer Grosz; son, John Jr. Grosz; stepsons, Michael and Daniel; parents, John and Susie Grosz, brother, Raymond (Christy) Grosz; sisters, Rhonda (Ben) Wipf, Maria (Brian) Wipf, and numerous nieces and nephews.
