Memorial Services for Georgia Rose (Belecky) Matti will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Susan Reichenburg officiating. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for visitation.Georgia Matti, age 80, of Gillette, WY, went to be with Jesus on February 11, 2016, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.Georgia was born May 13, 1935, in Mullen, Nebraska, the daughter of Louis and Mildred (Haney) Bragg. Her early years were spent with her family in various communities in Nebraska. When she was a junior in high school, the family moved to Laramie, Wyoming. She graduated from the University High School in Laramie in 1953, and from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology in 1957.In June of 1957, she married John Joseph Belecky, Jr. and they made their first home in St. Helens, Oregon. They had two children. After six years in Oregon, they returned to Wyoming and lived in Cheyenne, Laramie and Gillette. She worked at Campbell County Memorial Hospital as a Laboratory Manager for 19 years until she retired in 1997. John passed away in 2005.She loved Jesus and always put others first. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and served as Clerk of Session for over six years.In November 2009, she married H. Neal Matti and the couple made their home in Gillette. Georgia enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking, homemaking, and her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, H. Neal Matti of Gillette, WY; her son, Craig (Jill) Belecky of Gillette, WY; daughter, Teri (Jeff) Adams of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Shane (Haley Sue) Belecky; Jacob Belecky; Haley Mae Rose Belecky; Abigail Adams; and sister, Ruth Bragg of Spokane, WA.She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and a sister. A memorial has been established to benefit the Gideon's or an organization of your choice.
