Funeral Service for Sharon P. Lepel will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday November 13, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home with Deacon Kim Carroll officiating. Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30p.m., Thursday November 12, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home, with a vigil starting at 7:30 p.m. Sharon P. Lepel, age 57, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away at her home on November 8, 2015.Sharon Patricia Lepel (Christiansen), 57, passed away on November 8th, 2015 at her home in Gillette Wyoming. She was born on July 17, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Martin Alexander Christiansen and Catherine Ethel Christiansen nee Zuccaro.Sharon grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, Minnesota in 1976. After high school she attended Bemidji State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Radio Communications and Television Broadcasting. She moved to start own business, Lepel Consulting Inc. where she worked for many years as a computer consultant.Sharon married Michael Craig Lepel in 1983 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They were happily married for 32 years. Sharon was a proud member of Pheasants Forever, and she happily organized banquets for the organization in Brainerd, MN, for many years . She enjoyed watching her children play baseball/softball, and was affectionately known around the pitch as "Baseball Mom". She also lived for (slow) pontoon rides around her home away from home, Lake Edward. She was a wonderful mother and wife, and always said that if her family was happy, she was happy. Sharon is survived by her spouse Michael of Gillette, Wyoming; her two children: Daniel Lepel of Wright, Wyoming, Catherine Lepel of Juneau, Alaska, three older brothers, Martin (Jane), Patrick (O'Ann), and Michael, four older sisters, Sandra, Diane, Jacqueline, and Kathleen, one younger sister, Marcia, nine nephews and eight nieces, and mother-in-law Catherine, and brother-in-law Kevin (Pamela).Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Catherine, father-in-law Alton, and brother-in-laws Elwood, Rodney, and Donald.A memorial has been established in Sharon's name.
