Funeral services for Charlotte Darlene Williams will be at 10:00a.m., Monday, October 26, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Bishop Clark Melinkovich officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Charlotte Darlene Williams "Char", 72, of Gillette entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She passed away knowing her loved ones were by her side. Charlotte was born in Yakima, Washington on October 14, 1943. During her childhood she moved often, never staying in one place for long. She moved to the Gillette area in 1962 where she met and married R.E "Buck" Williams; she then became a stepmother to Bob, Bonnie, and Connie Williams. They raised their family, plus a daughter and son of their own, Kendra and Bill. Later on in her life she adopted Mikey and Mechelle Allen. Charlotte was named Wyoming's Outstanding Young Woman in 1971. She had several retail businesses where she had the chance to express her creative talents of; sewing, wedding planning, and much more. Char was always there to help others, and was very lovable. Her most prided possessions were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved them very much. Her family and friends sometimes referred to her as "Sugar". In January 2003 she suffered from a severe stroke which caused her to reside at the Pioneer Manor until her death. The Pioneer Manor was a very large part of her life much like a second home, many staff and residents were close to her.Charlotte was survived by her mother B. Boutiler, her sister Sheila (Emil) Pendleton, her brother Frank (Patricia) Ford, and her brother Walt Ford all out of Rozet, WY. She also was survived by 6 children; Kendra (Alex) Munoz, Bill (Vonnie) Williams, Bob Williams, Connie Williams and their families, in addition to Mikey and Mechelle Allen and their families. Charlotte also had 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that she adored very much; Stephanie, Shantell (Fernie), Kaylee (Zane), Rob (Jamie), Billy, Kari, and Dennis. Her great grandchildren are Ryleigh, twins Tavy and Tyka, and Arianna. She was preceded in death by her husband; Buck, father; Emmanuel Ford, and stepdaughter; Bonnie Kuzara.
