Pearl Lucille Sturtz, 73, of Gillette passed away Friday, Oct. 16 , 2015, at Campbell County Health in Gillette after a two-week battle with complications from a gallbladder infection. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Home. Pearl was born Feb. 19 1942, in Miles City, Montana, to Gertrude and Johnnie Gilman. She grew up on various ranches around the Powder River area before moving to Miles City, where she attended high school.Pearl worked at Amax coal mine, Iseman Mobile Homes, Brady's Mobile Homes, RENEW, Powder River Energy and Tammy's Home Care.Pearl enjoyed fishing, boating and camping, especially with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and woodworking.Pearl is survived by two sisters, Gloria McDonald and Mary (Dick) Sturtz; and five children, Rick (Patricia) Beginski, Lana (Tom) Tegeler, Tina Sturtz, Paul (Gail) Sturtz and Lorin (Christy) Sturtz.
