Funeral Service for Dave J. Young will be held at 10:00 a.m., on October 1, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Holden officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, WY. Dave J. Young, age 66, of Gillette, WY passed away at Campbell County Memorial Hospital on September 24, 2015. Dave Jesse Young was born July 24, 1949 to Marshall and Phyllis (Davis) Young in Buffalo, Wyoming. He spent his early years growing up on the family ranch south of Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School in 1967.He had a varied work history including many years as warehouse support for AMAX Coal at Eagle Butte Coal Mine in Gillette. He also worked on the Libby Dam project in Libby, MT and for Freightliner in Billings, MT. Dave worked for Spencer Fluid Power in both Billings and Gillette retiring from Spencer in April 2014. Dave was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Gillette, Wyoming. He enjoyed music from all varieties, was an avid shooter, enjoyed being grandpa and great grandpa to his wife's grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was active in all politics. Dave is survived by his wife Bobbie of Gillette, WY; mother, Phyllis Holub of Sheridan, WY; sisters, Shaun Doyle of Sheridan, Wyoming, Michele Schlutre of Parkman, WY and one son Nathan Williams of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his father Marshall and sister Jane Young (Navarette). A memorial has been established to benefit Close to Home Hospice House.
