Memorial services for Frank A. Thallas will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Gillette Wyoming with Fr. Tom Fiske officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Frank died on September 17, 2015 at Close to Home Hospice, with his family at his side. Frank was born on May 8, 1932 to Photis and Lillian Thallas in Hastings, Nebraska. Frank married the love of his life on July 8, 1951. Together they raised 4 children, Michelle Heuton, Nina Baity, Frank Thallas Jr, and Carol Foster all of Gillette. They celebrated 64 years of marriage this year. He moved with his family to Gillette Wyoming in 1970. He worked for Lester Little as a Machinist at Gillette Machine until he went to work at Pacific Power and Light until his retirement. Frank enjoyed camping with his family, he was also an avid hunter, black powder enthusiast, wood carver, and was love by many for his story telling. Frank is survived by his wife Mary, children; Michelle (Dan) Heuton, Nina (Bob) Baity, Frank (Tracy) Thallas Jr, Carol (Stan) Foster, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Frank was proceed in death by his parents; Photis and Lillian, two brothers; Robert and George, and daughter; Dora Lea. Condolences may be sent to Fr.
