Kelly Sudbeck, age 49, of Gillette, Wy passed away peacefully at her residence with her husband by her side on Monday, August 24, 2015, following her battle with cancer. Kelly was born February 28, 1966 in Omaha, Nebraska to Eugene and Judy (Stoller) Sudbeck. Kelly graduated from Yankton High School in 1984. After high school Kelly worked several different jobs including: Walt's in Meckling, SD; Dale's Electronics in Yankton, SD; Carlisle Plastic in Sioux Falls, SD; The State's Veteran's Home in Hot Springs, SD and Primrose in Gillette, Wyoming. Prior to ceasing work because of her illness, Kelly worked at Primrose in Gillette, Wyoming, a job she loved. Kelly was a hard worker and loved caring for the elderly citizens of Primrose. Kelly married Kevin Ridlen in Hot Springs, SD on February 7, 2008. Kelly found in Kevin, a love she truly treasured. Survivors include: her husband, Kevin Ridlen of Gillette, WY; child, Jordan Sudbeck; brothers, Chad (Julie) Sudbeck of Papillion, NE and Trent ( Mary Beth) Sudbeck of Anaheim, California; sisters, Stacy Sudbeck of Dana Point, CA and Heather (Merlin) LaCroix of Yankton, SD.Kelly was preceded in her death by her mother, Judy, father, Eugene, infant sister Michele, grandmother, Rita Stoller and an aunt who was like a mother to her, Donna Jensen. Kelly is no longer suffering and has gone to be with those who went before her and will be a guardian angel and watch over those she left behind. Kelly did not want her loved ones and friends to mourn her loss, but celebrate her life. In honor of Kelly's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
