A celebration of life will be held in Raynald Payeur's honor on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 2:00pm, at American Legion Post 42, 200 Rockpile Blvd., Gillette, WY. Gillette resident Raynald E. Payeur, 60, died August 5, 2015, at his home of natural causes. Mr. Payeur was born Jan. 16, 1955, in Sanford, Maine, to Ernest and Theresa Payeur. Ray was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a motorcycle enthusiast in his earlier years. He also enjoyed following his favorite sports teams. He served in the United States Air Force for four years with an honorable discharge. He worked in the uranium and coal mines as well as local oil rig and supply companies. Most recently he worked as an estimating contractor for the roofing and siding industry. Those who knew Ray remember him as a very happy and heartwarming person who was always willing to lend a helping hand when he could. He will be truly missed by his family and the many friends and acquaintances he came to know in his lifetime. He is survived by brothers; Richard of Acton, ME, Maurice of Sanford, ME, Norman of Westbrook, Me, and sisters; Rita Soulard of Biddeford, ME and Janet Boivin of Sanford, ME, and stepmom Yolande Payeur of Sanford, ME.
