Raynald E Payeur

Gillette, Wyoming, resident Raynald E. Payeur, 60 died August 5, 2015, at his home of natural causes. Raynald was born January 16, 1955, in Sanford, Maine, to Ernest and Theresa (Ouellette) Payeur and was a 1973 graduate of Sanford High School. He served in the United States Air Force for four years with an honorable discharge and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Ray had a great love for the outdoors. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a motorcycle enthusiast in his earlier years. He also enjoyed following his favorite sports teams. He worked in the uranium and coal mines, as well as, local oil rig and supply companies. Most recently, he worked as an estimating contractor for the roofing and siding industry.Those who knew Ray, remember him as a very happy and heartwarming person who was always willing to lend a helping hand when he could. He will be truly missed by his family and the many friends and acquaintances that he came to know in his lifetime. He is survived by brothers; Richard of Acton, ME, Maurice of Sanford, ME, Norman of Westbrook, ME, and sisters; Rita Soulard of Biddeford, ME, and Janet Boivin of Sanford, ME, and stepmother Yolande Payeur of Sanford, ME.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church, located on Payne Street in Springvale.
