Renita 'Lynne' Chastain

A memorial service for R. Lynne Chastain will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home with Jeremy Rodgers officiating. Renita Lynne Chastain, age 59, of Gillette, WY passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Close to Home Hospice House. Lynne was born September 20, 1955 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Burl and Karlene (Bowers) Tabor. She attended Pueblo High School and Pima Community College before moving to Gillette in 1991 and receiving an Associate Degree in Business from Gillette College. After college Lynne worked for Shelter West Housing and then Personal Frontiers Inc. until her health began to fail. Lynne was a member of Central Baptist Church and volunteered with the local Jail House Ministry in Gillette. She enjoyed camping and fishing and had a love for plants. Lynne's grandbabies were her world. She loved spending every chance she could with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Lynne is survived by her sons, Ernie Chastain and his Fianc LeAnn Franco of Gillette, WY, Bobby Chastain of Gillette, WY; grandchildren, Tayten Chastain, Maddox Chastain, Parker Chastain, Mallory Niles, and baby girl Chastain, all of Gillette, WY; brother, Marvin (Terri) Tabor of Gillette, WY; nephews, Chris (London) Tabor, Corey (Mandy) Tabor, Josh Tabor, and Justin Dyk; nieces, Kaylie Tabor, Jessica Dyk, and Jonae Tabor. She was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Karlene Tabor and brother B.J. Tabor.
