Steven Craig Augerot

Memorial Service for Steven C. Augerot will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Walker Funeral Home. Steven Craig Augerot, age 66, of Gillette, Wyoming, died Saturday July 18, 2015 at Campbell Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming. Steven was born May 7, 1949 in Dodge City Kansas to Charles Elwood Augerot and Della Elizabeth Augerot. He graduated High School in Dodge City, Kansas with the class of 1967 and went on to serve in the United States Navy. After his service in the navy Steven went to El Paso Community College and transferred to Colorado State University in pursuit of his bachelors in Landscape Horticulture and Landscape Design. In 1981 he started Cumming Landscape in Colorado Springs, CO until 1987 when he moved to Brighton, Colorado to be the General Manager for Nitro-Green. In March of 1988 he moved to Greeley, Colorado to work for Alpine Gardens as a General Manager and Operations Manager. After six years he became the Parks Program Manager for the city of Greeley, Colorado where he worked until 2009 when he moved to Gillette, Wyoming to become Parks Superintendent for the City of Gillette. He ended his life working as a landscape technician for G&G Landscaping in Gillette. Steve is survived by his son Jade Augerot; one stepdaughter Arrow Augerot; one brother William (Jayne) Augerot, niece Alexie (Steven) Olds, and nephew Andrew Augerot of Scott City, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial has been established in Steven's name.
