Memorial services for George K. Bryant will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, WY. George K. Bryant, 70, of Gillette, Wyoming, was taken from his family on June 29, 2015 from injuries sustained in auto accident. Cremation has taken place.George was born March 24, 1945 in Lusk, Wyoming, to John W. & Mildred H. Bryant. George graduated from Basin High School. After high school, George attended Casper College in the auto mechanic field. After obtaining his education, he worked several jobs in the automotive, oil and mining industry, including Knisely Moore, Care Car, Pathfinder Mine, Bear Creek Uranium, Golconda Mine, and Kissack Water & Oil Services. At the time of his death, George was employed with PTI as a shuttle bus driver for the railroad. On June 21, 1964, George married Carole J. Lincoln, and together they had four children, William "Bill" Keith Bryant, Charles G. Bryant, Katherine J. Bryant, and Diana C. Bryant. George and Carole divorced on October 17, 1996.Although George was known as a very quiet man who kept a lot to himself, he enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends, enjoyed car shows, working on his vast vehicle collection, and camping. Some of George's closest friends were of the four-legged variety and he almost always had one with him wherever he traveled, most recently his dog Frisky. Most that knew George, knew he had a strong passion for old Dodge trucks and anything Mopar. George is survived by his children, Charles Bryant (Debbie Stoneking) of Evansville, Wyoming; Katherine Bryant of Paris, Michigan; Diana Floyd (Nick) of Cusseta, Alabama; 9 grandchildren, and several cousins. Preceding George in death were his parents, John & Mildred Bryant, and his son, Bill Bryant.
