Mass of Christian Burial for John "Chuck" Lenferink will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015 at St. Matthews's Catholic Church with Father Raymond Canete and Deacon Kim Carroll officiating. John "Chuck" Lenferink age 69, died peacefully on June 6, 2015 at his home when his Lord and Savior Jesus took him to his eternal home in heaven. Chuck was a happy man and always had a great sense of humor. He loved his Lord, his family and his beautiful Alaska, where he was raised. He served in the U.S. Army for 6 years, and then came to Gillette in 1976. He enjoyed people and his skill as floor installer for over 40 years. And he always gave God the credit for keeping him busy in his trade to support his family. He and his late wife Judy raised 2 children; those years were his biggest joy. Chuck is survived by his wife; Erika, son; Jeremy Lenferink of Gillette, WY, daughter; Jamie (Ryan) Farris of Cheyenne, WY, step-children; Adam (Jackie) Frankson and Brenda(Pat) Cornwell all of Thermopolis, WY, 10 grandchildren, mother and father-in-law; Robert and Maria Grisham of Thermopolis, WY. He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Mabel Lenferink, wife; Judy, and sister; Zeta Classen.
