Lyle Dean Zimmerman passed away peacefully in his home on June 4th, 2015. He was 59 years old. He was surrounded by his life partner Jackie Rogers and furry friends Dewey and Elvis. Lyle was born in Salina, Kansas on August 11, 1955 to Julius and Patsey Zimmerman of Rawlins, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Zimmerman and Patsey Lasco. He is survived by a brother Steve McCain of Missouri and a niece Brandie Jensen of Louisiana, and delighted in caring for his step-sons Carl and Jason Vigil of Rock Springs, WY. Lyle was a gentle soul who enjoyed camping, fishing, 4-wheeling and music. He had a genuine love of life. In his younger years, he enjoyed dancing and rock and roll music. He played acoustic guitar, banjo and the mandolin. Lyle attended one year of college at the University of Wyoming and became a welder. Lyle was a plant operator at Both FMC in Green River, WY and Black Hills Power of Gillette, WY and He had recently discovered the joys of retirement. Family services to be arranged for a later date.
