Funeral Services for Vivian Baker will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held, Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. Vivian Baker age 87, of Gillette, WY passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Pioneer Manor of natural causes. Mary Vivian Morrison known by her family and friends as Vivian was born on April 20, 1927 at her grandparents' home in Forest, Ontario Canada to Bessie (Sheppard) and Gordon Morrison. She was the oldest of nine children, six girls and three boys. She attended grade school for eight years at the county school and she graduated from high school in Ayr, ND. Following graduation she went to beauty school in Fargo, ND. After beauty school she worked at Kindred for three years then bought the beauty shop, later she sold the shop and moved to Miles City, MT and then to Gillette, WY. In 1963 she married John H. Baker. They made Gillette their home. Vivian and John raised two sons; Gary and Gordon and one daughter; Vickie. Vivian loved also having her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren in her life. Vivian is survived by her husband of 51 years; John, brother; Allan Morrison, sister; Laura (Larry) Plank, sons; Gary Baker, Gordon (Victoria) Baker, daughter; Vickie (Marc) Harbaugh, grandsons; Branden Baker and Tyler Harbaugh, granddaughters; Brittany Baker, Jennifer Baker, Natasha (Josh) Christean, and Chantel Baker, great-grandson; Jeffery Baker, great-granddaughter; Sophia Baker. She is preceded in death by her parents; Gordon and Bessie Morrison, brothers; Keith Morrison and George Morrison, sisters; Jean Morrison, Zeta Sbragia, Janet Stryker, and Beverly Gomer, infant daughter; Diane and several nieces and nephews.
