Memorial Service for Helen Marie Millar will be held on March 24th at 2pm at Living Rock Church in Gillette WY 1001 South Douglas Highway BLDG B Suit 1. A celebration of life will take place late spring early summer in Sturgis SD. Helen left us here on earth and ran into the arms of her Savior Thursday, March 19th, 2015. She was surrounded by Friends and Family, and draped elegantly with love. At the time of passing, and during the transition into her eternal life, Helen held the hand of her adoring, courageous, loving, and compassionate husband Doug Millar. Helen has touched the lives of anyone she came in contact with, and will remain in our hearts forever. In Helen's youth she had a passion for athletics, and an ability that produced many high level accomplishments in Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Track and Field, and Softball. With the athletic mindset that contributed to Helen's strong will and preservation to strive for excellence, we are reminded of the time when being challenged by her peer she raised to the occasion. Helen proceeded to execute 100 cartwheels down Bleeker Street in Lead South Dakota. Helen also possessed an aptitude for music and enjoyed playing the flute. She was a frequent participant in the many adventures that the Youth Ministry brought forth. Helen would tell you about the time she truly found God; it was there, in a canoe, in the state of Minnesota that gave birth to an extraordinarily passionate believer. You could always find Helen in the congregation by simply looking for her right hand; it was the one high in the air and frantically reaching and swaying when the word struck her. As a prolific Personalized Consultant for accounting, sought out by many admirable clients, Helen loved to help others. This was also so obvious when you would walk into her Health Club, and she would literally jump for joy when one of her clients would have a successful week. In the times that her clients were not as successful, Helen would take to her uncanny ability to use her words in a way that would leave you believing it was your idea in the end. Ultimately she was able to achieve the desired goal, either by encouraging others or simply doing it herself with absolutely no hesitation or complaining. Helen was a Loving and Caring wife, an outstanding Mother and Grandmother, a true Life Coach, a graceful daughter, and an amazing sister. Most of all she was just a Great person. Helen never had anything negative to say and probably one of the most positive people we have ever known and loved. We will miss you, and we love you! She is survived by her husband; Doug Millar, her mother; Nira Nichols, her sisters; Paty Flynn, Pam Lewis, Bobbie Williams, and Stella Anderson, her two daughters; Stacey Lennon and Hannah Millar, her son; Caleb Millar, her five grandchildren; Mya, Adryana, Brayden, Maggie, and Aaliyah, and the countless other hearts she has truly blessed over the years that she loved and loved her as family. Helen was preceded in death by her father; Robert Michael, step-father; William "Bill" Nichols, her sister; Cheryl Michael, and brother; Richard Michael, and is rejoicing now in Heaven.
