Betty L. Malaimare passed away at her home in Gillette, Wyoming on Monday, February 16, 2015 she was 64 years old. A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at a later date. A private family cremation has taken place. Betty Lou Malaimare was born on March 29, 1950 the daughter of Alvin D. and Wilma W. (Newman) Haase in Torrington, Wyoming. The family resided on a ranch and Betty attended rural schools in Burge and Prairie Center and graduated from Torrington High School in 1968. After graduation Betty went to Denver and attended school to be a key punch operator. She moved to Mesa, Arizona where she met and married Dennis MalaimareThey adopted a son, Denny and were later divorced. Betty worked for Intel for over twenty years in the Phoenix area and also in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 2003 where she was employed by Wal-Mart, Volunteers of America and at the time of her death for Tammy's Home Health. Betty was an avid Avon sales person and was a president club member. She was a member of the New Life Wesleyan Church. Betty was a member of the Senior Center in Gillette and always sat with a group of people at table number eight. She was loved by so many people.Betty is survived by her son, Dennis W. Malaimare of Arizona, two brothers Keith Haase of Washington, Charlie Haase of Colorado, four sisters, Karen Hartung, Joyce Peterson, Lorraine Terrell of Wyoming, Eunice Azbill of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial has been established to benefit the Senior Center and New Life Wesleyan church both in Gillette, Wyoming.Memorials and condolences may be sent to the family in care of the Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court Gillette, WY 82716.
