Mary Helen Imberi

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Imberi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2015 with a Vigil starting at 7:00p.m. at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Mary Helen Imberi passed in the arms of our Lord on February 4th 2015 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette, WY. Mary was born October 26th, 1921 to George Kannenman and Amelia Splonskowski in Hillsview, SD. She married Frank S. Imberi on September 5th 1938 in Hillsview, SD. The two farmed near Hosmer, SD for five years, then moved to Hoven, SD. In Hoven, Mary worked for the Hoven Hospital cleaning. Later in life her and Frank moved to Parkston where Mary worked in the nursing home and hospital. Her and Frank enjoyed dancing and gambling until he passed away December 3, 2003. She is survived by her 5 children: Janice Arbach of Gillette, WY; Leo (Fay)Imberi of Bellgrade, MT; Donald (Ruth) Imberi of Deerwood, MN; Anne Moke (Arlen) of Mitchell, SD; and Paul (Tammy) Imberi of Ocala, FL; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and her loving husband.
