Joshua John Pirman

Funeral Service for Joshua J. Pirman will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Family Life Church in Gillette, WY with Marty Crump officiating. Joshua J. Pirman, age 32, of Gillette, WY passed away in Campbell County on February 2, 2015.Joshua Pirman was born on August 6, 1982 in Gillette, WY to Paula and Kenneth "Kenny" Pirman. He attended school in Campbell County and received his GED in 2000. After receiving his GED he went on to work at Cyclone, Earthworks and recently at Black Thunder Coal Mine. Josh was a member of the National Speleological Society and an active member in the Hole in the Wall Grotto. He often attended and led caving trips. Josh enjoyed four wheeling and snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He enjoyed tinkering with different things and was very handy. The most important thing in his life was his daughter Dayja. Josh was known for his dedication and a hardworking man. He was a loving father and great friend. Josh is survived by his girlfriend, April Markham of Gillette; daughter, Dayja Pirman and her mother Jess Snyder of Gillette; Uncle, Dave Castelli of Gillette; maternal grandmother Ruth (Bob) Ransom of Dubois, WY; several cousins , all of Josh's many friends who he considered his brothers, his faithful companion Shila who was his German Shepard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paula and Kenneth "Kenny" Pirman; brother Ben Pirman; aunt Sherry Castelli; paternal grandparents, John H. Pirman and Mary Ellen Riech and maternal grandfather, Robert Earl Stanely. A memorial has been established to benefit his daughter Dayja Pirman's college fund.
