Memorial service for Mary Ann (Jassmann) Hart will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Gillette Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Force of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Mary Hart, age 77, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital due to heart complications. Mary was born on February 19, 1937, in Lusk, Wyoming the daughter of Christian Jassmann and Emma (Paige) Jassmann. She attended school at Node, Wyoming for three years before they moved to a ranch north of Lusk, Wyoming. She graduated from Niobrara County High School in Lusk, Wyoming in 1955. Mary Jassman married Joe Wilbur Hart on November 17, 1958 in Lusk, Wyoming. They also lived in Buffalo, Wyoming before moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 1964. In December of 2013, Mary moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where she resided at the Sheridan Manor Nursing Home. Mary worked as a waitress for many years until she became legally blind. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting all types of items such as: chickens, Fenton glass, angels, birds, tea pots and salt and pepper shakers. She also enjoyed special memories of camping and fishing trips with her family. She loved having the bible read to her. She enjoyed taking her children places. She would also love to go dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends that she had made all the years that she lived in Gillette. Mary is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lien Cockley of Sheridan, Wyoming and her son, Darrel Ray Hart of Gillette, Wyoming; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Jack Moriarty of Sheridan, Wyoming, brother, David Jassman of Lusk, Wyoming and sister, Judy Lamb of Torrington, Wyoming; as well as a special friend Kari Hovde of Gillette, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilbur Hart, her son, Gregory Earl Hart and her parents.
