Ruth Lorraine Giertych

A Celebration of Life for Ruth L. Giertych will be held at 3:00 p.m., January 24, 2015 at the Gillette Memorial Chapel in Gillette, WY. Ruth L. Giertych, age 56 of Gillette, WY passed away January 21, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Ruth L. (Rice) Giertych was born in Bagley, MN on October 21, 1958 to Thomas & Marilyn Rice. Ruth loved family gatherings and large family dinners; she loved spending time with her children and grandson, going to the mountains to view wildlife and occasional trips to Deadwood to play the slots. She is survived by her husband, Robert and four children; Jennifer (Jody), Sarah, David (Tara), Susan (Mike), a grandson Connor and, sister; Wanda and brother; Daniel. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; Thomas and Marilyn and sister; Kayleen Arnett. A gathering of family and friends will follow the services.
