Mass of Christian Burial for Wilma Irene Johner will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Gillette Memorial Chapel with vigil to follow at 7:30 p.m. Wilma Johner passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Pioneer Manor in Gillette, Wyoming. Wilma Irene (Norlin) Johner was born on January 7, 1927 in Newell, South Dakota to Lily (Will) and Elmer Norlin. Wilma met and married Julius Johner in 1947; together they raised four children together; 3 sons and 1 daughter. Wilma attended the Black Hills Area Vocational Technical School and graduated in 1970 with a degree in Nursing. She worked as a nurse in various areas of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Wilma and Julius moved to Gillette in 1973. Wilma moved into Pioneer Manor in 2012. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards. Wilma is survived by her sons; Julius "Jocko" (Susan) Johner, John (Diana) Johner, Jerome "Jerry" (Donna) Johner all of Gillette, WY, sisters; Daisy Baumiester, Ester Webb, and Emily Campbell, along with 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Julius, parents; Elmer Norlin and Lily Greslin, daughter; Judy LeAnn Ringenberg, and grandchildren; Tammy LaRae Ringenberg, and Jermiah Scott Johner. A memorial has been established to benefit the Senior Center of Campbell County.
