Bonnie Jean Ryan

Funeral Service for Bonnie J. Ryan will be at 11:00a.m. Saturday January 3, 2015 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Bonnie Ryan, age 68, passed away at Close to Home Hospice on December 27, 2014. Bonnie J. Ryan was born May 9, 1946 in Snohomish, WA to Water and Beatrice Jasna she grew up in Anacortes, WA and Platte, SD. Bonnie graduated from Platte High School in 1964. After graduation she began working at Eastman Drug and later at Wyoming Highway Department. After retirement she became a cake decorator and baker. She married Patrick W. Ryan on September 12, 1964 in Platte, SD. The couple moved to Gillette in 1974. Bonnie spent her free time playing softball and bowling. She had many hobbies including cake decorating, baking, scrapbooking, yard work, painter, crafting, crocheting and embroidering. Bonnie enjoyed party planning, gambling and was an avid coca cola collector. Bonnie is survived by her husband Pat Ryan of Gillette, WY; son Troy Ryan of Cheyenne, WY; daughter Bridgette Black of Gillette, WY; brother Wallie H. Jasna of Rosebury, OR; sisters, Carla J. Boltjes of Spencer, IA and Dona Lomica of Rosebury, OR and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Beatrice Jasna and one sister, Nadine M. Lewis. A memorial has been established to benefit Heptner Cancer Center.
