Dianna Alice Sanders

Memorial Service for Dianna Alice Sanders will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 1:00 p.m., at Gillette Memorial Chapel officiated by Erik Bergquist. Dianna Alice Sanders, age 65, passed away on December 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. Dianna Alice (Simmons) Sanders was born on January 23, 1949 in Sulfur, Oklahoma to Pearl (Pogue) and Kenneth Simmons. She attended Kimball County High School in Kimball, Nebraska graduating in 1967. That same year she married the love of her life; Dewey Sanders and the couple moved to Gillette. Dianna spent most of her life raising her son, daughter and grandchildren. She eventually worked at the photo lab at Wal-Mart where she made many friends. Dianna was known for her love of all cats and dogs and would accept all strays as her own. Dianna will be deeply missed by her husband; Dewey Sanders, son; D.J. (Jawnie) Sanders, daughter; Missie (James) Wooldridge, brother; Donald Simmons, along with 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth and Pearl Simmons and brother; Billy Simmons.
