Memorial Services will be held Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Gillette Memorial Chapel, Kenna Rose officiating. Inurnment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery and a celebration of her life at the shelter. Traci Kay Record passed away at Close to Home Hospice House on Thursday November 20, 2014 after her strong courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Sheridan, WY on November 22, 1973 to Randa Leigh Tyrrell and Ronald H. Carsrud. Randa raised Traci and Troy Zane Tyrrell in Gillette. Growing up Traci and her family made special lifelong friends through Randa's work and social circle. Traci graduated from Campbell County High School with the class of 1992. She was employed at a couple of fast food restaurants before her and Thomas R. "Tom" Record were wed. They were married on August 16, 1997 at a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Cam-plex Park. Traci was a stay-at-home wife taking much pride in her home and especially her yard and flower gardens. Traci enjoyed crocheting dollies and making quilts. Although Traci and Tom never had any children of their own, they had dogs, mostly Cocker Spaniels that were a very important part of her life. She felt most at peace in the Big Horn Mountains and at Keyhole Lake where they liked to fish and relax. Traci loved the kids in her life especially her niece and nephews. She was often a care giver for many of the working moms in the immediate family and "Oh how they loved their Aunt Traci!" She is survived by her husband Thomas R. Record, her mother Randa L. Tyrrell, her bother Troy Z. Tyrrell (Paizley Jean, Paxton Zane), Buck and Dorothy Tyrrell, Judy Record, Danielle Record and Tom Lynch (Patrick Thomas), Dale and Kristine Nelson (Trever and Lynden), Rita Elmore and Joe Kawulok all of Gillette.She was preceded in death by her father Ronald H. Carsrud, her grandmother Nadine Wodstrchill Tyrrell, her grandfather H. E. Fritz Tyrrell. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Heptner Cancer Center in Traci's name.
