Funeral service for Amanda Ida Strickland will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Burry Bessee of the First United Methodist Church officiating Burial will follow at the Gillette, Mt Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Walker Funeral Home.Amanda Strickland, 27 passed away on September 21, 2014 at the Wyoming Medical Center from injuries received in a vehicle accident.Amanda Ida Strickland was born on March 24, 1987 to Talmadge and Barbara (Phillips) Strickland on March 24, 1987 in Sarasota, Florida. Her family resided in North Port, Florida before moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 2000. She attended Campbell County High School and attended the First Baptist Church in Gillette prior to moving to Casper, Wyoming where she has spent the last three years.Amanda is survived by her parents , Barbara and Tom Nash of Gillette, WY, her biological father, Talmadge Strickland of Casper, WY, her three sons, Joseph, Cason and Landon, four sisters, Mae Zinke of Belle Fourche, SD, Ashley Strickland, Angela Boike, and Tabitha Prichard all of Gillette, WY.A memorial has been established in Amanda's name.
