Jeanne Fay Andress, 75, lost her battle with Alzheimer's disease on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at Pioneer Manor. She was the oldest of three daughters born to Oscar and Grace Olmstead in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Throughout her years, she lived a nomadic lifestyle, moving from one end of the country to the other, and loved each place her family settled. Jeanne's vibrant and stubborn personality made her unforgettable. If life gave her lemons, she'd throw them back and demand apples! Jeanne found her true calling at an elementary school and was one of those blessed school secretaries who ran the whole school. She loved to travel, especially with family, and looked forward to her next adventure. Her love of her family and of life will keep her forever in our hearts. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Montgomery; sons, Jeff (Kim) Hulings and Mark Hulings; stepchildren, Dave (Sharon) Andress, Peggy Andress, Carl (Roxanne) Andress and Linda Andress; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and sister, Linda Burger.Jeanne's family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Pioneer Manor, specifically those in the Memory Lane Unit for your loving patience and care.As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Picnic will be held at a later date.In memorial, please consider a donation to the Pioneer Manor Activities Department, CCMH Hospice or to any Alzheimer's organization.Memorials and condolences may be sent to the family in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
